Great news! The charges against Gabe Myers have been dropped.

Gabe Myers, the young man that Josh filmed being choked by the police at the July 8, 2005 demonstration was charged with felony lynching, (trying to free HIMSELF from police custody by saying, “help me”) and resisting arrest, which he wasn’t doing. All charges were dropped by the DA and video and other witnesses came forward showing that the police did indeed drive speeding into the crowd. Hopefully, this might help in getting Josh released also, as more testimony should now be available for Josh’s lawyers to use.
