I was at a [rally](http://luxomedia.com/vlog/?p=1210) to protect the ancient redwoods today, and a few people involved with the [Save Tookie](http://www.savetookie.org/) campaign suggested that the best person at this point to contact is Maria Shriver. After all, a man’s wife tends to have tremendous influential power. Then I started thinking about Maria Shriver’s family and came up with the idea that perhaps we should all [e-mail](mailto:senator@kennedy.senate.gov) Ted Kennedy and urge him to speak to his extended family about how Tookie should be granted clemency.
