What a crazy fucking night...

Rob got up to San Francisco around 11 o'clock Thursday night, and the remained of our evening and early morning -0- no, let me rephrase that -0- mid-moring were spent shooting the proverbial shit, if you will, only to pull ourselves back into conciousness by 9:30AM to get ready for school... Released from the days duties Rob and I set forth on a journey that begins at the Powell BART station and continues around the area bouncing in and out of stores to pick up job applications as we venture further outward, getting hungry as we stumble into Chinatown. After eating the "lunch special" from a random restaurant we came across, we head back towards Powell station to purchase a printer from CompUSA and trek back to my house. Upon our return to the Treat St. co-op we promptly depart again to visit my dad at Blizzard in San Mateo. My dad shows us some stuff he's been working on for the company's next project. I grab what I needed to pick up from my dad, and before we continue onward, the three of us have a bit of a mini-pinball tournament. The night has only begun as the clock nears 9 and we head out to Lori's birthday party out in Belmont. We stop at the Safeway just outside the party and I pick up some colored sarane wrap. As we're looking for the address, I cake several layers of the purple mylar film around the garish box. When the makeshift gift-wrap's complete, I must confess that it looks completely decent. The party is quite nice, and as the party is winding to a close, it becomes apparent that the girl he had been talking to earlier is quite trashed and wants to drive home. Things are beginning to look a little tense when I suggest that I will drive her car home with her while Rob follows behind us. Tentatively, she agees. I back the car down into the street when all of a sudden she begins speaking about how the parking brake wasn't really released fully and claims that she needs to fix it. I argue a bit, but relent and allow her to enter the drivers side of the vehicle. I know what she's about to do, but I realize that arguing will not get me any where and affix my hand on the handle to her rear door. As expected she quickly shuts the door, puts her car into drive and takes off. I manage to open the back door and secure my hands inside her car as she accelerates away. I run to keep up, asking her to stop her car. I can't keep running at the speed she's driving and let go of the car. We call her shortly afterwards and she answers her cell-phone but refuses to say where she is, or whether she's driving or not. We hope for the best.
