College is a state of mind...
Went to Belmont last night, to help my friend Lori with her Photoshop project. As I arrive on her campus I'm greeted by a barrage of Catholic iconograghy. All the halls are named after saints, aesthetically, the school is the epitomy of a Catholic high school, and aptly sized as well. Following Lori down the hallway of her dorm, I'm thrust back into my days spent at Francisco Torrres. It's true, you know, all dorms look the same. Anyhow, being in Lori's dorm reassured me that I'm definitely better off being in my co-op then living on-campus. I had had my doubts up until then. It didn't bother me to be in a dorm again or anything, I just realized that is not my ideal living environment. Sharing a room, having an R.A. over-seeing my life, dining on plastic in cramped cafeterias... no thanks, I'd rather not pay to live in a minimum security prison. Dorms are great for meeting people, in fact, I must've met over a dozen friends and associates of Lori's during the few hours I hung out. Cool people. Anyhow -- I need to go to class now, I think I might have a midterm in an hour...
